Riverford, Hello Fresh and Abel & Cole are a few of the food subscription companies that are all striving to provide the perfect balance of convenience, quality and taste in a growing market. These have never really appealed to me through – I don’t want a bunch of random ingredients delivering to me just because they’re in season. I want to eat seasonal…

I’ve been wanting to try Paris House at Woburn for a while now but needed a suitably special occasion. So hat’s off to Jonathan for organising a surprise meal there for our 2nd wedding anniversary. Having walked the grounds of Woburn Estate a few times in the past I was already in love with the old Tudor building of Paris House. The restaurant has…

Our Itinerary for the Seychelles and Dubai

After the constant changing hotels in New Zealand and lack of sun I’m really looking forward to staying still. The Seychelles has some of the most photographed beaches in the world and for good reason. I’ll admit that it’s not been at the top my list to go somewhere so quiet but now it’s nearly here I can’t wait to switch off. To prepare us for the UK we will be stopping over in Dubai for three nights on the way back. More on that to come. The Seychelles Part 1 The Seychelles is a short flight from Dubai. Once we land we’ll be escorted straight to a speed boat…
